Type :
Database
Mean : ส่งกลับค่าตัวเลขที่มีค่ามากที่สุดในเขตข้อมูล (Column) ของระเบียนในฐานข้อมูลที่ตรงกับเงื่อนไขที่คุณระบุ
Formular :
Dmax(database,field,criteria)
Database : คือช่วงของเซลล์ที่ประกอบขึ้นเป็นรายการหรือฐานข้อมูลโดยรายการของข้อมูลที่สัมพันธ์กันที่อยู่ในแถวของข้อมูลที่สัมพันธ์กันเรียกว่า
ระเบียน และคอลัมน์ของข้อมูลเรียกว่า เขตข้อมูล
ซึ่งแถวแรกของรายการประกอบด้วยป้ายชื่อของแต่ละคอลัมน์
Field ทำหน้าที่บ่งชี้คอลัมน์ที่ถูกใช้ในฟังก์ชั่น
โดยอาจจะกำหนดเป็นข้อความโดยใช้ป้ายชื่อคอลัมน์ที่คร่อมด้วยเครื่องหมายอัญประกาศคู่
เช่น “อายุ” หรือ “ผลตอบแทน”
หรือกำหนดเป็นตัวเลขที่แสดงถึงตำแหน่งของคอลัมน์ภายในรายการเช่น 1 หมายถึงคอลัมน์แรก ส่วน 2 หมายถึงคอลัมน์ที่สอง และต่อๆไป
Criteria คือ ช่วงของเซลล์ที่มีเงื่อนไขตามที่คุณระบุ
โดยสามารถใช้ช่วงใดก็ได้เป็นอาร์กิวเมนต์ของเกณฑ์
ตราบใดที่ช่วงนั้นมีป้ายชื่อคอลัมน์อย่างน้อยหนึ่งคอลัมน์
และมีเซลล์อย่างน้อยหนึ่งเซลล์อยู่ใต้ป้ายชื่อคอลัมน์ที่ใช้ในการระบุเงื่อนไขให้กับคอลัมน์

Select cells A1:A7 and type Name and then press
Enter, Type Somboon and then press Enter, Type Amorn and press Enter.

Type Boripat and Press Enter, Type Pipat and
press Enter, Type Pirat and press Enter, Type Chonticha and press Enter.

Select cells B1:B7 and then type Province and
press Enter, Type Bangkok and press Enter, Type Bangkok again and then press
Enter.
·
Type Bangkok and then press Enter, Type Rayong
and press Enter, Type Chonburi and press Enter, Type Rayong and press Enter
·
Select cells C1:C7 and type Amount and press
Enter, Type 12000 and press Enter, Type 25000 and then press Enter.

Type 14000 and press Enter, Type 3000 and then
press Enter, Type 15000 and then press Enter, Type 30000 and then press Enter.
·
Select cells A1:C1, Copy and Paste To A9.
·
Click cells B10 and then type “Bangkok”
·
Click cells C12 and type =dmax(a1:c7,c1,a9:a10)
and then press Enter (Result at C12=25000)
·
If type Rayong at cells B10 and then press Enter
(Result at B10=30000)
·
Dmax can calculate only the number on field (any
cells) but cannot calculate text at any
cells
